With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Spencer Holder saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The S.D. Bajen fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when S.D. Bajen's Adrian Nicolae looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Spencer Holder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lincoln Hand in the 36th minute of play. S.D. Bajen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kacper Wasikowski to make the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Nicolae in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Spencer Holder in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spencer Holder came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 64th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Spencer Holder in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in S.D. Bajen's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spencer Holder came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. S.D. Bajen made a substitution. Sam Malone replaced Adrian Nicolae. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Malone in the 73rd minute of the match. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lincoln Hand couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Sam Malone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After 84 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spencer Holder having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
