Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Guang Chen in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jairo Eneko was slow to take the kick. During this time Barreal FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Barreal FC's corner Jairo Eneko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dário Tepedino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 18thth minute of the game Yu Guang Chen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Axel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Tepedino having to interfere. Joakim Giliusson made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barreal FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dário Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 27th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Guang Chen in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Abram Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Dário Tepedino. Barreal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute of the match Barreal FC got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Eneko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abram Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben-Ami Gol in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Yu Guang Chen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. When Kevin Mastache fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Kevin Mastache a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. Barreal FC's Ben-Ami Gol managed to work through Colombia's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ben-Ami Gol dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Barreal FC's Dário Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Barreal FC from getting a goal against them. Yu Guang Chen made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Abram Secada. The Barreal FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
