Forever Tango's Rolando Baudelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Thomas Melse sent off a good shot on target. Rolando Baudelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of the match. Rolando Baudelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Thomas Melse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar De Simone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Forever Tango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Melse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Forever Tango's Rolando Baudelio. Rolando Baudelio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernardo Veronica in the 74 minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Mikolas came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Thomas Melse in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Severo Elorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernardo Veronica kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venezuela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
