The referee ignored FC Draconia's protests and gave Joaquin Lekubegi a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Jerome Ngake threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jerome Ngake dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 81 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Gregoire Decorte came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregoire Decorte in the 82nd minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jerome Ngake came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 85th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
