In the 3rd minute Emmanuel Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Grêmio Papão de WC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stayko Vakareliyski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Jâninho Melo made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. Andréas Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Andréas Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 13th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Andréas Linquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Efraim Gilabert hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Gergely Takács sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Peru booed when Grêmio Papão de WC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Gedeon Káposztás came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andréas Linquist came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 64th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grêmio Papão de WC made a substitution. Filip Mika replaced Gergely Takács. A sloppy throw-in by Stayko Vakareliyski in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 83 minutes in the game, Eliseo Mina fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Andréas Linquist having to interfere. Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 83rd minute of play. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. 87 minutes into the game, Geovanildo Zago threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Andréas Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Marcus Rashford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Gallo took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andréas Linquist. Andréas Linquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Grêmio Papão de WC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
