Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Célio Fontes kicked off to start the match. A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Thomás Borges with Thomás Borges as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 7thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Célio Fontes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Juvenal Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lobo Zornoza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Lobo Zornoza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Lobo Zornoza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Lobo Zornoza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Zanussi struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE. The CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Célio Fontes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Célio Fontes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 4-0. Amado Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Célio Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Lobo Zornoza scored 5-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 53rd minute of play. Juvenal Sergipano made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lobo Zornoza in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Fontes came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute Lobo Zornoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Célio Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juvenal Sergipano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Kiko Tande was substituted for Célio Fontes. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Kiko Tande notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Tande in the 92nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lobo Zornoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
