Nikifor Vekov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nikifor Vekov. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th of the match, Alfredo Di Stéfano tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Julio Vera got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a defensive mix-up in JET-M's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikifor Vekov came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikifor Vekov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 38th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Haglund in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, JET-M's Alfredo Di Stéfano got a free kick in the 48th minute. JET-M's Mirolyub Radin was substituted for Alfredo Di Stéfano.
