The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Frente Revolucionario F.C's zone, Leonardo Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Dely came out of the goal and Leonardo Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mario Garcia De Paredes fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frente Revolucionario F.C's protests and gave Mario Garcia De Paredes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Frente Revolucionario F.C getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mario Garcia De Paredes hit a great ball. Hector Dely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Louis, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Dante Mannie got a free kick in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martín Arauz got free with Aureliano Obeko in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hector Dely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Leonardo Poz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Dely having to make a save. 24 minutes into the match, Frente Revolucionario F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Sabin came free, but Hector Dely reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Frente Revolucionario F.C booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliano Obeko acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wiliam Ulloa. In the 31st minute, Totin Herbruger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a long run with the ball, Gaspar Sabin did a trick in the 33rd minute in front of Frente Revolucionario F.C's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-1. An impressive performance by Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin! Andres Lozano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gaspar Sabin sped through Frente Revolucionario F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hector Dely. 46 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Morales came free, but Aureliano Obeko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Frente Revolucionario F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leones FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiliam Ulloa to make the kick off. Aureliano Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Morales in the 55th minute of play. Hector Dely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Sabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gaspar Sabin in the 62nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Hector Dely kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 65 minutes into the game, Diego Manilan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Hector Dely was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonardo Poz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hector Dely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mario Garcia De Paredes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In the 81st minute, Leonardo Poz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Frente Revolucionario F.C getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Wiliam Ulloa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Frente Revolucionario F.C's zone, Leonardo Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Dely came out of the goal and Leonardo Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Leones FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Frente Revolucionario F.C throughout the match.
