In the 13th minute of the match Bruno Gigli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Rydelius skillfully saved the ball. Fulvio Totaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filippo Costacurta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jonatan Rydelius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Stintino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Kjellqvist came free, but Eugenio Saturno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Saturno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Godholm in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Fomac FK booed when Stintino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Pugliese didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Sjödin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugenio Saturno. Stintino FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Johannes Brodin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The long shot by Alexander De Luca in the 29th minute really tested Jonatan Rydelius's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Foddis in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Rydelius saved Fomac FK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Kjellqvist in the 36th minute of play forced Stintino FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Saturno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Kjellqvist in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Saturno saved Stintino FC from getting behind. When Daniele Burgnich fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stintino FC's protests and gave Daniele Burgnich a yellow card for diving instead. Daniele Burgnich hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Carl Kjellqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Daniel Kiempe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Saturno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Fomac FK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Carl Kjellqvist made the kick off in the second half. Claes Åkerström charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claes Åkerström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Fomac FK got a freekick which was hit by Claes Åkerström. 56 minutes into the match, Stintino FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Saturno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Kiempe. The supporters of Fomac FK booed when Stintino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Costacurta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filippo Costacurta struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jonatan Rydelius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stintino FC. Fomac FK's Bengt-Åke Alebeck was substituted for Daniel Kiempe. In the 71st minute, Charles Torstensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Foddis in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Rydelius saved Fomac FK from getting behind. Flavio Foddis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Erik Sjödin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stintino FC's Alexander De Luca got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Stintino FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Orrore. In the 91st minute, Bengt-Åke Alebeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Bengt-Åke Alebeck put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Eugenio Saturno. When the final whistle sounded Fomac FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stintino FC.
