A collision led to Nacional de Rolândia getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. André Luiz Azevedo hit a great ball. In the 12th match minute, Nacional de Rolândia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Campidelis took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vivaldo Recife. Vivaldo Recife dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. AnÐaRaHy's Elói Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elói Mandrak's late challenge caught a Nacional de Rolândia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elói Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AnÐaRaHy's Elói Mandrak got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The supporters of AnÐaRaHy booed when Nacional de Rolândia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vivaldo Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Campidelis in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, AnÐaRaHy's Zé Carlos Vargas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vivaldo Recife was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nacional de Rolândia's Vivaldo Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Mandrak in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luiz Azevedo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Nacional de Rolândia's Jaime Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jacinto Campidelis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Vivaldo Recife when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vivaldo Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Machado in the 84th minute of play. A hard shot 87 in the game by Elói Mandrak from a close distance when the talented Vivaldo Recife managed to make a qualified save. Nacional de Rolândia's players were relieved. Jacinto Campideliss short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Vivaldo Recife to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vivaldo Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
