The supporters of Carqueja booed when Lord of the Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kieran McGaw didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Arotza Ledrado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carqueja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arotza Ledrado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peruanton Lago hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Enol Rieta kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Urki Olivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Connolly during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tom Connolly hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Arotza Ledrado struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alisdair Ferries didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carqueja. Urki Olivera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alisdair Ferries tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Nafarroa Dragranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carqueja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nafarroa Dragranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alisdair Ferries made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nafarroa Dragranda in the 41st minute of play. Nafarroa Dragranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alisdair Ferries read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urki Olivera made a kick off. Michael Ennis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Urki Olivera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carqueja's supporters rose to their feet, but Urki Olivera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alisdair Ferries breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrick Dean took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Estevon Feliph. In the 68th minute Arotza Ledrado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisdair Ferries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willie Dawson during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Willie Dawson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arotza Ledrado in the 88th minute of play forced Lord of the Wings's goalkeeper Alisdair Ferries to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Carqueja's Urki Olivera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alisdair Ferries made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Lord of the Wings were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
