Maurus Roose's late challenge caught a Bajenland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolaas De Ryck kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Robrecht Van Geestel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaan Dovina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Bajenland's Lars Telin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Kest narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joost Rauvoets kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Maurus Roose hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes, Café DE PLOEG's Maurus Roose shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kaan Dovina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Café DE PLOEG reached it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Arne Kest made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Wennerström in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Bajenland got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Odman. Maurus Roose got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Lars Telin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Arne Kest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's Robrecht Van Geestel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaan Dovina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Café DE PLOEG fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Café DE PLOEG's Arne Kest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Wennerström in the 76th minute of play. Jörgen Wållander kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Kaan Dovina made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Xander-Paul Raeijmaeckers sent off a good shot on target. Bajenland's Kaan Dovina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Bajenland from getting a goal against them. Arne Kest came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Bajenland's Gottfrid Siggman. But to his dismay, Gottfrid Siggman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Café DE PLOEG were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bajenland to leave the ground with a draw.
