In the 3rd match minute, COSQUIN SFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Fernanco to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Ortiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Aureliano Socorro made a huge save. Marcelo Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Delmiro Fernanco came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the COSQUIN SFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Fernanco couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, COSQUIN SFC's Baldomero Salvatore got a free kick in the 11th minute. Marcelo Freitas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, one of LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 28 minutes into the match, Delmiro Fernanco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Paulo Diniz. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Fernanco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 38 played minutes LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Ortiz. Luiz Paulo Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Ricardo Benet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. COSQUIN SFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC the free kick. After 43 played minutes COSQUIN SFC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Benet. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Benet in the 52nd minute of play forced LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Charro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Aureliano Socorro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Negri went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute, COSQUIN SFC's Delmiro Fernanco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Paulo Diniz. Luiz Paulo Diniz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Jeronimo Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Diniz having to interfere. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Adalberto Amorim was substituted for Inácio Montenegro. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Silvério Aparecido was substituted for José Paulo Paiva. 71 minutes into the match, LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Diniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Fernanco. If Roberto Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Paulo Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Charro in the 76th minute of play. Luiz Paulo Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Gil in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Gil came free, but Luiz Paulo Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's zone, Jeronimo Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Diniz came out of the goal and Jeronimo Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. COSQUIN SFC's Aureliano Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Amorim in the 94th minute of play.
