The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Leonard Duțulescu fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ANC's protests and gave Leonard Duțulescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Craig Rhoades hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC ANC's Marcel Șeitan got a free kick in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, FC ANC's goal looked a bit too open when Clark Lindsey came free, but Manuel Boroș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC ANC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Craig Rhoades was slow to take the kick. During this time El Canalla de Chicago's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on El Canalla de Chicago's corner Craig Rhoades fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manuel Boroș quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clark Lindsey in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Boroș saved FC ANC from getting behind. Radu Bodnar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jonah Peck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolph Thurman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iustin Deliman kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Manuel Boroș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clark Lindsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristide Chifu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonah Peck having to interfere. Clark Lindsey struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Manuel Boroș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Canalla de Chicago. Manuel Boroș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clark Lindsey in the 30th minute of the match. Manuel Boroș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Carney in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes FC ANC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Craig Rhoades who took care of the corner kick. FC ANC's Manuel Boroș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Carney in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to FC ANC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Iustinian Iorda hit a great ball. Clark Lindsey had several of the FC ANC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Manuel Boroș as he didn't even see the shot coming. Manuel Boroș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clark Lindsey's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. If Rudolph Thurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, FC ANC's Radu Bodnar got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Julian Corcoran. Manuel Boroș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clark Lindsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clark Lindsey in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Boroș saved FC ANC from getting behind. The referee showed Craig Rhoades the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Craig Rhoades hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Leonard Duțulescu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Radu Bodnar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Manuel Boroș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Carney, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Scott Souza took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Boroș. Manuel Boroș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Souza in the 86th minute of play forced FC ANC's goalkeeper Manuel Boroș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aristide Chifu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the FC ANC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristide Chifu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Lindsey in the 93rd minute of play forced FC ANC's goalkeeper Manuel Boroș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Boroș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Carney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
