The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Domingo Terciero was a little too slow when Richy Wiggers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Domingo Terciero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Henderickx in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Federigo in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Van Der Weghen saved FC Bruges from getting behind. The supporters of FC Bruges booed when C.A Vientos Huracanados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, C.A Vientos Huracanados's Aristides Federigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Van Der Weghen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 13th minute, Bernardino Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Tony Henderickx dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Domingo Terciero, 2-1. Tony Henderickx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Domingo Terciero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Van Der Weghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Federigo in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Aristides Federigo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Bruges's Tony Van Der Weghen. Tony Van Der Weghen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute Melquiades Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Van Der Weghen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Van Der Weghen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Federigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Henderickx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Terciero having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Lope came free, but Tony Van Der Weghen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Van Der Weghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Federigo in the 33rd minute of the match. Aristides Federigo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Van Der Weghen. Tony Van Der Weghen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The FC Bruges players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A Vientos Huracanados were winning 2-3.

Aristides Federigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Tony Van Der Weghen made a huge save. A collision led to C.A Vientos Huracanados getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Apolo Lope hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Julius Balthazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When C.A Vientos Huracanados's Aristides Federigo in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bruges's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Bruges's Herman Bormans got a free kick in the 64th minute. Domingo Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richy Wiggers, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute, Aristides Federigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Van Der Weghen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. 78 minutes into the match, C.A Vientos Huracanados's goal looked a bit too open when Richy Wiggers came free, but Domingo Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's Richy Wiggers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Terciero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Tony Henderickx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony Van Der Weghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Federigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The C.A Vientos Huracanados supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A Vientos Huracanados would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
