Killers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Ted was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Killers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Potra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Potra in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Rencio saved Killers FC from getting behind. Matei Pescaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Rencio having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Alex Potra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Rencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Rencio came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Alex Potra. But to his dismay, Alex Potra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.

The wind increased when Eulalio Berdoi made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Andrei Vârjean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Rencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Teodor Oneț's late challenge caught a Killers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodor Oneț helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Oneț. In the 68th match minute, Killers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Lon to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Vaştag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Potra succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-6. The Killers FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fotbal Club Vaslui were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
