In the 4th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jemmett Baba to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Australian Youth Academy's Dani Cochrane got control of the ball when Leonel Enaut tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 minutes, Romulo Orlandus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kekambas FC and the Australian Youth Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Kekambas FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Orlandus. In the 14th minute, Dakota Gaffigan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dani Cochrane made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Leonel Enaut sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bradley Obree hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Olliver Todman made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Iratxo. Kekambas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 31st minute, Jamie Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Enaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Dani Cochrane made a huge save. After 37 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Neville Wal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Iratxo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Kekambas FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Dionisio Felo hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Kekambas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dakota Gaffigan came free, but Esteve Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fidel Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olliver Todman to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Fidel Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kekambas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonel Enaut in the 57th minute. Kekambas FC's Leonel Enaut was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dani Cochrane in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Kekambas FC booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jones Schutt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Vidal during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Esteve Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neville Wal in the 60th minute of play. Herman Heberle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esteve Iratxo came out and tried to block the shot, but Herman Heberle slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 63rd minute. Dani Cochrane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Enaut in the 68th minute of play. Australian Youth Academy's Dani Cochrane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Dimo in the 69th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Kekambas FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Lazcano. Australian Youth Academy's Dakota Gaffigan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Esteve Iratxo but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Olliver Todman got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Australian Youth Academy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
