Umut Özkutlu charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Umut Özkutlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Ibiza booed when Sessiz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 24 played minutes Sessiz got a freekick which was hit by Umut Özkutlu. In the 25th minute, Justo Mas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şerif Sarbay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 27 minutes into the match, Sessiz's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Mas came free, but Şerif Sarbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Justo Mas made a precise shot to the right of Şerif Sarbay. Sessiz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Şerif Sarbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Mas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Umut Özkutlu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Sessiz were furious when Alaaddin İcmal was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Sessiz:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Ibiza:s goal. The referee gave Club Ibiza a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ruy Mestas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sessiz's Şerif Sarbay. 0-6. After the first half Club Ibiza were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

But to his dismay, Don Omar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 59 minutes into the match, Don Omar notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Sessiz's Şerif Sarbay. Şerif Sarbay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Sessiz getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. In the 81st minute, Natalio Maimo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
