The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Tim Hellqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santos Hori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Juan Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santos Hori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Sjödin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Patrik Alström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Way. With his leg Patrik Alström managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Howling Dawn U18's Gerard Way fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd minute Aron Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Hori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gerard Way had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Patrik Alström managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Howling Dawn U18's Axl Rose fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Bittor got free with Patrik Alström in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axl Rose's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Patrik Alström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 44 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Patrik Alström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axl Rose. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tim Hellqvist was the one to do the kick off. Axl Rose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Patrik Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Juan Bittor came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Bittor couldn't finish the play. Patrik Alström came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Howling Dawn U18's Gerard Way. But to his dismay, Gerard Way quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Roy Bollström kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Santos Hori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Hellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goal looked a bit too open when Axl Rose came free, but Patrik Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Bittor in the 68th minute of play forced Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Patrik Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerard Way in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Alström saved Åsbro Flåsegutter from getting behind. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Anthon Jernberg was substituted for Anders Örn. Howling Dawn U18's Astor Manilan was substituted for Juan Bittor. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Uriel Lauren hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Jernberg came free, but Santos Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Hori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Hellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Baltasar Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Patrik Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Åsbro Flåsegutter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Askestät didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's Uriel Lauren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Alström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrik Alström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Walme in the 86th minute of the match. Patrik Alström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Weiland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Peter Vallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes, Howling Dawn U18's Uriel Lauren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrik Alström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Howling Dawn U18 reached it. In the 95th minute Astor Manilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Howling Dawn U18 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Åsbro Flåsegutter for a fine match.
