Tadeo Serafo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Peli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes of play, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Park Ferretti made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeo Serafo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Nelson Cuevas fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joystick XXXV's protests and gave Nelson Cuevas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Nelson Cuevas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Joystick XXXV booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Park Ferretti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Severino Peli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeo Serafo. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Fidel Maiorga charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Maiorga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Joystick XXXV booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelson Cuevas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaias Huly hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Joystick XXXV's zone, Park Ferretti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Serafo came out of the goal and Park Ferretti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute Nelson Cuevas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Gimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Nelson Cuevas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joystick XXXV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Pasqual stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tadeo Serafo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Peli, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nunez Gimenez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Osvaldo Pasqual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Los Hijos de Doña Beija players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
