Korn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nelson Cuevas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joystick XXXV's Nelson Cuevas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isidoro Ixaka in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antonio Fidele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A. Korn's Isidoro Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Cuevas in the 20th minute of play. Nelson Cuevas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Joystick XXXV's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 23rd minute, Igor Amato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelson Cuevas in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Ixaka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, A. Korn's Isidoro Ixaka got control of the ball when Nelson Cuevas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joystick XXXV's Tadeo Serafo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Todor in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Joystick XXXV got a freekick which was hit by Igor Amato. If Nelson Cuevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. Tadeo Serafo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of Joystick XXXV booed when A. Korn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Crescencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Ixaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Cuevas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nelson Cuevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Millan got free with Tadeo Serafo in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Joystick XXXV booed when A. Korn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Crescencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Erauso in the 78th minute of play forced A. Korn's goalkeeper Isidoro Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Celedonio Erauso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Isidoro Ixaka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerardo Todor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Joystick XXXV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Eufemio to maneuver through the defense. A. Korn's Elias Millan got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Ixaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Cuevas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes A. Korn got a freekick which was hit by Elias Millan. Isidoro Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Erauso in the 94th minute of play. Antonio Fidele's late challenge caught a Joystick XXXV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Fidele helped the player get up and apologised. Joystick XXXV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
