After 7 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leon Aragones. After 11 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Isidoro Senon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilian Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Isidoro Senon sped through Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilian Quadros. After 19 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Gerber. Wilian Quadros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nemesio Tabb went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Cristian Ado's late challenge caught a Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Ado helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavinho do Valle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeronimo Abella. That made the score 1-3 in the 42 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dênis Quadros during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dênis Quadros hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Tabb was the one to do the kick off. If Isidoro Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. defense, Dênis Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeronimo Abella. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeronimo Abella should have stopped the shot. After 62 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Senon. Jeronimo Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Quadros in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Wilian Quadros got control of the ball when Isidoro Senon tried to sneak it across the goal line. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Jeronimo Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho do Valle in the 67th minute of play. Gonzalo Mambru hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Dênis Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Quadros came free, but Jeronimo Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavinho do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jeronimo Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dênis Quadros scored 3-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeronimo Abella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Gonzalo Mambru got a free kick in the 97th minute. If Flavinho do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
