When Harry Enegren fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Glenn Gothenburg's protests and gave Harry Enegren a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Saint Glenn Gothenburg got a freekick which was hit by Harry Enegren. Wictor Säf came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by AKHisaR's Gündüz Tavgaç. But to his dismay, Gündüz Tavgaç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gündüz Tavgaç took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wictor Säf. Wictor Säf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Verner Alström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lefter Demirbaş. AKHisaR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Verner Alström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 22 minutes into the match, Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wictor Säf. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halis İlbilge got free with Wictor Säf in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AKHisaR's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Kıvılcım was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wictor Säf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the AKHisaR defense, Verner Alström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lefter Demirbaş. The AKHisaR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lefter Demirbaş should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Saint Glenn Gothenburg getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tobias Säv hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aziz Kıvılcım kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wictor Säf. That made the score 4-2 in the 36 minute of play. Bahattin Zühtü hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Verner Alström to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Patrick Knutsson got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 58th minute, Anıl Baran Duran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aziz Kıvılcım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of AKHisaR booed when Saint Glenn Gothenburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Ergün Özver sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wictor Säf skillfully saved the ball. Wictor Säf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halis İlbilge in the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wictor Säf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 played minutes Saint Glenn Gothenburg got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Knutsson. Aziz Kıvılcım took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wictor Säf. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Wictor Säf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Kıvılcım in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes AKHisaR got a freekick which was hit by İlyas Tolga Aras. In the 77th minute, Verner Alström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 78 minutes into the match, Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wictor Säf. After 88 minutes of play, AKHisaR's Yakup Hacıoğlu made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wictor Säf was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the game, Aziz Kıvılcım cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-2. Wictor Säf was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wictor Säf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the AKHisaR players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
