An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Sjöö in the 18th minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Horácio Fontoura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Uter scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horácio Fontoura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horácio Fontoura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Jansson. Carlos Lopes's late challenge caught a StraX Xenon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of StraX Xenon FC booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Per Kjellbom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horácio Fontoura. SLB TELHA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Kjellbom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Sjöö in the 38th minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Horácio Fontoura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Américo Raposo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Karl-Erik Häger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horácio Fontoura. SLB TELHA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Sakarias Lund. Georg Åkerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Modesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

StraX Xenon FC's Georg Åkerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hildeberto Nóbrega in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match, Américo Raposo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Georg Åkerberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Horácio Fontoura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Sjöö in the 60th minute of play. Horácio Fontoura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Uter, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute, Carlos Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Américo Raposo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesualdo Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Dennis Sjöö ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horácio Fontoura was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 84 minutes into the game, StraX Xenon FC's Dennis Sjöö nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horácio Fontoura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 89 minutes, Gert Uter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the StraX Xenon FC and the SLB TELHA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hildeberto Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Georg Åkerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, StraX Xenon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Nyström to maneuver through the defense. If Hildeberto Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. StraX Xenon FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
