Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nando Lima to make the kick off. With his leg Anibal Nalo managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Queluzito's Nando Lima fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nando Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Nalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nando Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. When Queluzito's Aírton de Amaral in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
