The audience thought a goal was coming when Aírton de Amaral got free with Elmut Saidla in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Dundee's Elmut Saidla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Lima in the 9th minute of play. Aírton de Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Elmut Saidla made a huge save. In the 28th minute Nando Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elmut Saidla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aírton de Amaral got free with Elmut Saidla in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Queluzito's Paulo José Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mustikas in the 35th minute of play. Nando Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elmut Saidla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Lima in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Lima in the 45th minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Elmut Saidla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Elmut Saidla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Tomé Cerezo's late challenge caught a FC Dundee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Dundee booed when Queluzito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomé Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With 62 minutes on the clock, Tanel Kurvits commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Dundee fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Queluzito a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nando Lima, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Dundee's Elmut Saidla. 2-0. 70 minutes into the game, Queluzito's Aírton de Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elmut Saidla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nando Lima in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elmut Saidla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elmut Saidla came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Queluzito's Nando Lima. But to his dismay, Nando Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 80 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton de Amaral came free, but Elmut Saidla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Percy Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elmut Saidla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmut Saidla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percy Cabral during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Queluzito's Percy Cabral got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Queluzito's Paulo José Rodrigues got control of the ball when Rein Nuiaots tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elmut Saidla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Queluzito had won after a very even match.
