Dé Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilian Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Eger having to interfere. The referee gave Mestre GG a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. After a defensive mix-up in RIBEIRÃO FC's zone, Amadeu Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Eger came out of the goal and Amadeu Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
