After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Roy Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Protegéerna's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Bennet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robinho Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Roy Bennet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo CIMZ's Tarcisio Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Bennet came free, but Tarcisio Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
