In the 7thth minute of the game Artemio Hermon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bustick Sport's Augustus Batalla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Bustick Sport's Maurinho Matos got a free kick in the 8th minute. Maurinho Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Txurio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Abel Luix made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lucio Arotza however managed to control. Lucio Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustus Batalla having to interfere. Bustick Sport's Amancio Carlomagno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abel Luix in the 30 minute of the game. Rodrigo Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustus Batalla having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bustick Sport's Amancio Carlomagno got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Hector Feliu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hydra's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Feliu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augustus Batalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hydra's Ermegildo Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Matos in the 40th minute of play. Maurinho Matos scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Txurio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fermin Manni's late challenge caught a Bustick Sport's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Manni helped the player get up and apologised. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 59 minutes of play, Bustick Sport's Maurinho Matos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
