The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 8 minutes into the match, San Mauro A Mare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Andberg came free, but Dario Curti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Maestri hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Demetrio Maestri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Viggo Lundkvist, 1-1. Dario Curti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Andberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Dario Curti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Bergström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22nd play minutes Bo Bergström shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Dario Curti and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to FC Bodil United getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gert Barck hit a great ball. Fausto Rea's late challenge caught a FC Bodil United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Rea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Fausto Rea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, San Mauro A Mare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Andberg came free, but Dario Curti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Bodil United's Andreas Holm got a free kick in the 35th minute. San Mauro A Mare FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Rea in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the San Mauro A Mare FC defense, Karl-Johan Drake kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Curti. The San Mauro A Mare FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Curti should have stopped the shot. Bo Bergström struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Dario Curti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bodil United.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krister Andberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Bo Bergström succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. Bo Bergström's late challenge caught a San Mauro A Mare FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 62 played minutes San Mauro A Mare FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Andreola. Dario Curti didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Bergström in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, San Mauro A Mare FC's Emilio Bellomo got a free kick in the 80th minute. FC Bodil United's Gert Friberger got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes in the game, Bo Bergström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dario Curti having to interfere. Krister Andberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Dario Curti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 86th minute, FC Bodil United's Bo Bergström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Andberg in the 91st minute of play forced San Mauro A Mare FC's goalkeeper Dario Curti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Karl-Johan Drake left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bodil United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. Daniele Vittorio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Bodil United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
