The supporters of Matanza and Steelers booed when FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Cozac didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Gerson Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Geangu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Lopez in the 11th minute of play forced FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's goalkeeper Francisc Geangu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's Vladimir Cabral got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes Matanza and Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Cabral. Matías Quirino was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Isac Contra. When FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Ştefan Zdrenghea in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Francisc Geangu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 27th minute of the match. Matanza and Steelers's Matías Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Matanza and Steelers from getting a goal against them. Ştefan Zdrenghea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Matías Quirino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ciprian Cozac hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Matanza and Steelers's Indiana Jones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisc Geangu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Matías Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Zdrenghea in the 46th minute of play. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Francisc Geangu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Montenegro in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Senad Or stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Zdrenghea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matías Quirino was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Ştefan Zdrenghea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Contra in the 84th minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Matías Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isac Contra in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matías Quirino saved Matanza and Steelers from getting behind. Aílton Montenegro's late challenge caught a FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aílton Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. Aílton Montenegro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ştefan Zdrenghea in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matías Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Matanza and Steelers for a fine match.
