The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iustin Dinculescu during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Iustin Dinculescu hit a great ball. In the 5th match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Ljungberg to maneuver through the defense. Valter Pedersson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Contra came free, but Gabriel Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to HEJA ESLÖV getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Per Ljungberg hit a great ball. Ştefan Zdrenghea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gabriel Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Eusebiu Stelea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Grubb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gabriel Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Zdrenghea in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Isac Contra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Zdrenghea in the 31st minute of play. Isac Contra struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Gabriel Grubb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV. In the 37th match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Palm to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ştefan Zdrenghea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's supporters rose to their feet, but Ştefan Zdrenghea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Grubb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Ştefan Zdrenghea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Grubb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 45 minutes, Isac Contra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Contra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47th play minutes Ştefan Zdrenghea shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Gabriel Grubb and just under the crossbar into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ştefan Zdrenghea made a kick off. With 54 minutes on the clock, Per Ljungberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Per Ljungberg hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in HEJA ESLÖV's zone, Isac Contra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Grubb came out of the goal and Isac Contra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isac Contra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Gabriel Grubb made a huge save. The throw-in from Iustin Dinculescu in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by HEJA ESLÖV's Jan-Olof Palm. Jan-Olof Palm kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Iustin Dinculescu in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by HEJA ESLÖV's Jan-Olof Palm. HEJA ESLÖV's attentive Jan-Olof Palm managed to snatch the ball when Emil Andronescu made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Leonard Lustig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Geangu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Iustin Dinculescu in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by HEJA ESLÖV's Jan-Olof Palm. Gabriel Grubb made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ştefan Zdrenghea sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Zdrenghea in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in HEJA ESLÖV's zone, Vintilă Ailioaiei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Grubb came out of the goal and Vintilă Ailioaiei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isac Contra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Gabriel Grubb made a huge save. After a rather tough play, HEJA ESLÖV's Jan-Olof Palm got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Zdrenghea came free, but Gabriel Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than HEJA ESLÖV throughout the match.
