Benigno Manilan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, Taio Sánchez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento de Resistencia the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Taio Sánchez got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the game, one of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Sarmiento de Resistencia. Felipe Leguizamón stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Salvador Durango. 2-1. Basilio Mateus kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Bergkamp came free, but Benigno Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Salvador Durango got control of the ball when Siro Elazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Siro Elazar. Benigno Manilan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taio Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes, Inocencio Manrique mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 and the Sarmiento de Resistencia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inocencio Manrique kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When Basilio Mateus fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento de Resistencia's protests and gave Basilio Mateus a yellow card for diving instead.

The wind increased when Siro Elazar made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Siro Elazar made a precise shot to the right of Salvador Durango. After a defensive mix-up in C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's zone, Siro Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Durango came out of the goal and Siro Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jaime Ellande hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Melquiades Maestro managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Maestro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Manilan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Salvador Durango played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Elazar in the 93rd minute of play.
