Marciano Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marciano Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute José Augusto Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 minutes of play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Lucas Munhoz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebio Marz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute, Relyn Futebol Clube's Arthur Munhoz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eusebio Marz. Eusebio Marz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 11th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Lago to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Hernan Ruy notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Relyn Futebol Clube's Juan Vieira. Juan Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juan Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Ruy in the 16th minute of the match. Eusebio Marz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Munhoz in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Fausto Valladares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusebio Marz. Fausto Valladares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The supporters of Social y Dep. Patagonia booed when Relyn Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Marz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Alfredo Reis was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Relyn Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alfredo Reis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Ruy in the 43rd minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Juan Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Relyn Futebol Clube's Hílton Lago seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hílton Lago the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Relyn Futebol Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hílton Lago had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Ruy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Relyn Futebol Clube's Juan Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Juan Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Galoer in the 54th minute of the match. If Hernan Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Valladares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio Marz having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Marciano Montes got a free kick in the 66th minute. Relyn Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Hernan Ruy scored to the left of an out of position Juan Vieira, making the score, 3-3. After some careless play in the Relyn Futebol Clube defense, Jose Isidor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Vieira. The Relyn Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Vieira should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Juan Vieira threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hernan Ruy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Social y Dep. Patagonia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
