When Aílton Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Relyn Futebol Clube's protests and gave Aílton Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. Aílton Tróia hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Alejandro Igon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Válbson Mattos skillfully saved the ball. In the 21st minute Marciano Maxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válbson Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Maxin went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 29thth minute of the game Eliseo Ralondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Relyn Futebol Clube's Válbson Mattos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Jaime Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 minutes of play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Fabricio Martxot made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Válbson Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Relyn Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jaime Alagoano hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Desiderio Tancredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Válbson Mattos made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Desiderio Tancredo took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Válbson Mattos to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Maraman got free with Válbson Mattos in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the game, Marciano Maxin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Válbson Mattos. Marciano Maxin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. In the 83rd minute, Desiderio Tancredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Ben Hur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. In the 86th minute of the match Jaime Alagoano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Cristofor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Válbson Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Maxin in the 88th minute of play. Relyn Futebol Clube's Válbson Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Relyn Futebol Clube's Válbson Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Tancredo in the 97th minute of play. The Relyn Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sportivo Ben Hur were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
