The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benjamim Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Romeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Benjamim Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerônimo Paraibano's late challenge caught a SAN LORENZO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerônimo Paraibano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Jerônimo Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Clodoveo Corderro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamim Moreno skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Emanuel Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Romelio having to interfere. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Nereo Timo replaced Gavino Fortun. Benjamim Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Corderro in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Until Five's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Ofelio came free, but Benjamim Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duda Saldanha made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SAN LORENZO FC's Nereo Timo. SAN LORENZO FC played a much better game than Until Five and deserved their victory. The Until Five players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
