An unexpectedly hard shot by Munro Wood in the 11th minute of play forced FIEL ALGUSTA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthony Giles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisão Zonta in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, Chelsea Headhunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephen Gardiner to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldinho de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sean Webster went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Munro Wood in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FIEL ALGUSTA's Nico Barreto. In the 23rd minute of the game Davie McQuaire made a throw-in which Simon McCorkindale played forward. In the 25th minute of the game, André Luís Paiva landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Headhunters's Simon McCorkindale got a free kick in the 26th minute. Osvaldinho de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Richardson in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Sean Webster notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FIEL ALGUSTA's Osvaldinho de Toledo. Osvaldinho de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Munro Wood during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chelsea Headhunters getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Munro Wood hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisão Zonta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anthony Giles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Tróia in the 57th minute of play forced Chelsea Headhunters's goalkeeper Anthony Giles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldinho de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Webster, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Osvaldinho de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Steve Richardson sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sean Webster in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldinho de Toledo saved FIEL ALGUSTA from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Douglas Jamieson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Munro Wood kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Chelsea Headhunters supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chelsea Headhunters would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
