The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Rashad Stern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sílvio Negri charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Negri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes きよし F.C.™ got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Negri. Tyree Caron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Freire went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brett Hull to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnold Pruitt made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and David Haskins immediately put the ball in play. The corner ended in Brett Hull almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but きよし F.C.™'s Ewerton Brito did a great save. Dante Grenier hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Sílvio Negri hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Rashad Stern's late challenge caught a きよし F.C.™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rashad Stern helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Rashad Stern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyree Caron was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Nestor Freire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nestor Freire really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rashad Stern hit a great ball. In the 91st match minute, きよし F.C.™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Novaes to maneuver through the defense. AFC Richmond's Brett Hull got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brett Hull fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewerton Brito having to interfere. Although AFC Richmond had been in control for most of the match, きよし F.C.™ still came away with the win.
