Freddy Figueruela hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goalkeeper Jorge Philippi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gayand Pombo. With his leg Jorge Philippi managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Chivos de Punto Fijo's Gayand Pombo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Spartans FC booed when Chivos de Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Amenedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13th play minutes Christopher Riverol shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jorge Philippi and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Chivos de Punto Fijo booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Beitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Jaunzuria Azpeitia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Spartans FC's Jorge Philippi didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Riverol in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Philippi saved Spartans FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alesandro Mac Millan in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Pasqua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Philippi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauren Traspuesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Chivos de Punto Fijo defense, Alesandro Mac Millan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Pasqua. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Pasqua should have stopped the shot. After 40 played minutes Chivos de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Martin Amenedo. Alesandro Mac Millan scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Pasqua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Spartans FC's zone, Gayand Pombo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Philippi came out of the goal and Gayand Pombo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

If Lauren Traspuesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christopher Riverol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jorge Philippi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Martin Amenedo got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Christopher Riverol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Gayand Pombo put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Philippi. Luzea Pedrero kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Waddington in the 69th minute of play forced Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Martin Pasqua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Martin Pasqua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alesandro Mac Millan in the 72nd minute of play. If Gayand Pombo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Philippi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christopher Riverol went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Ulizes Maquibar replaced Ceferino Aizaran. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Bela Gayoso was substituted for Martin Amenedo. Jorge Philippi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christopher Riverol went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Martin Pasqua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Sierralta in the 83rd minute of the match. Alesandro Mac Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Christopher Riverol made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Philippi. Spartans FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. 91 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Martin Pasqua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alesandro Mac Millan. With a little luck, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Martin Pasqua got control of the ball when Raimundo Marcou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chivos de Punto Fijo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
