The referee ignored Chivos de Punto Fijo's protests and gave Luzea Pedrero a yellow card for diving instead. Luzea Pedrero made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ceferino Aizaran. In the 5th match minute, きよし F.C.™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Riverol in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ewerton Brito saved きよし F.C.™ from getting behind. 8 minutes into the game, Christopher Riverol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ewerton Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nestor Freire hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Nestor Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. きよし F.C.™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Edu Prestes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Pasqua. Chivos de Punto Fijo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Prestes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 26th minute Nestor Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Pasqua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Martin Pasqua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Freire. In the 37th minute Christopher Riverol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewerton Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Gayand Pombo made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. きよし F.C.™'s Ewerton Brito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gayand Pombo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Chivos de Punto Fijo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Gayand Pombo could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Ewerton Brito however easily saved by the left post. In the 57thth minute of the game Christopher Riverol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but きよし F.C.™'s Ewerton Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to きよし F.C.™ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dorian Saldanha hit a great ball. Gayand Pombo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Ewerton Brito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Sílvio Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chivos de Punto Fijo booed when きよし F.C.™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Edu Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. きよし F.C.™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chivos de Punto Fijo the free kick. Ewerton Brito made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gayand Pombo sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, きよし F.C.™'s goal looked a bit too open when Lauren Traspuesto came free, but Ewerton Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Bela Gayoso was substituted for Martin Amenedo. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Gabriel Gay was substituted for Lauren Traspuesto. Gayand Pombo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ewerton Brito made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Chivos de Punto Fijo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than きよし F.C.™.
