In the 13th minute, Pedro Luís Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Babbis Papasotiriou was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 30 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Maciel. After having played for 34 minutes, Eustratios Psomiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BE COOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustratios Psomiadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th match minute, BE COOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Pegiadis to maneuver through the defense. Horácio Lara's late challenge caught a BE COOL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horácio Lara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Horácio Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikos Pegiadis charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikos Pegiadis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miltos Mouratidis was the one to do the kick off. Váldson de Queirós came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by BE COOL's Eustratios Psomiadis. But to his dismay, Eustratios Psomiadis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Váldson de Queirós didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BE COOL's Eustratios Psomiadis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Pedro Luís Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Babbis Papasotiriou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Horácio Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Papasotiriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luís Toscano came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Babbis Papasotiriou could save by the left post. Téo Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Babbis Papasotiriou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. In the 77th minute, Miltos Mouratidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BE COOL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Pedro Luís Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Papasotiriou having to interfere. In the 86th minute Miltos Mouratidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave BE COOL a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dimitris Saltsidis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Palmeiras's Váldson de Queirós. 4-1. Palmeiras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
