A collision led to Quimeras Jrs. getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Aurelio Urdin hit a great ball. Conrado Txurio made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Genaro Cubillos sent off a good shot on target. If Amado Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Simón Domeyco took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Conrado Txurio to make any attempt to save it. 14 minutes in the game, Simón Domeyco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Conrado Txurio having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Genaro Cubillos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Txurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 26 minutes into the game, Quimeras Jrs.'s Amado Ovando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eufemio Sazie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Conrado Txurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simón Domeyco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 30 minutes, Ferrán Quijada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PROTON F.C. and the Quimeras Jrs. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Ferrán Quijada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to PROTON F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Simón Domeyco hit a great ball. The supporters of PROTON F.C. booed when Quimeras Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Ovando in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eufemio Sazie saved PROTON F.C. from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Quimeras Jrs.'s Amado Ovando got a free kick in the 38th minute. Amado Ovando struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Eufemio Sazie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quimeras Jrs.. In the 42nd minute of the match Gogo Thomas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eufemio Sazie skillfully saved the ball. After 47 played minutes, Quimeras Jrs.'s Segundo Kusko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eufemio Sazie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quimeras Jrs. reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Ovando to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amado Ovando in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eufemio Sazie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amado Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eufemio Sazie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Confesor hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of PROTON F.C. booed when Quimeras Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Hodei didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, PROTON F.C.'s Juan Lobillo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gogo Thomas's late challenge caught a PROTON F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Thomas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Quimeras Jrs. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Gabino Pechini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Txurio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Amado Ovando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eufemio Sazie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amado Ovando's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Amado Ovando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Eufemio Sazie made a huge save. If Gabino Pechini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 88 minutes, Lázaro Camus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PROTON F.C. and the Quimeras Jrs. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, PROTON F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Camus to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Amado Ovando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quimeras Jrs.'s Amado Ovando got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute of the match Quimeras Jrs. got a corner. PROTON F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Confesor ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Quimeras Jrs.'s corner Rodolfo Confesor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eufemio Sazie quite easily take care of the ball.
