Conrado Txurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Amado Ovando fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quimeras Jrs.'s protests and gave Amado Ovando a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of HeBr United booed when Quimeras Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, César Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Txurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Quimeras Jrs.'s Conrado Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Ferreira in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Paulão Souza made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Txurio. Quimeras Jrs.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Ovando in the 32nd minute of play forced HeBr United's goalkeeper Cícero de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Tadeo Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, HeBr United's Tostão Zanette got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Amado Ovando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HeBr United's Cícero de Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Quimeras Jrs.'s Amado Ovando in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HeBr United's goalie prevented a goal. Quimeras Jrs.'s Aurelio Urdin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tostão Zanette in the 40 minute of the game. If Amado Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Quimeras Jrs. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. HeBr United were winning 0-2.

In the 56th minute, Quimeras Jrs.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benjamim Ferreira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of HeBr United booed when Quimeras Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamim Ferreira got free with Conrado Txurio in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quimeras Jrs.'s Conrado Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Souza in the 68th minute of play. Ruperto Hermon charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Hermon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruperto Hermon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quimeras Jrs.'s Tadeo Jon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tostão Zanette in the 76 minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, HeBr United's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Ovando came free, but Cícero de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Quimeras Jrs. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Urdin to maneuver through the defense. César Reis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 83rd playminute. After having played for 91 minutes, Amado Ovando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quimeras Jrs.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Ovando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Amado Ovando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cícero de Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. HeBr United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
