The crowd rose to their feet as PROTON F.C.'s Simón Domeyco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Şneapotă. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. A collision led to Viola Invest getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gelu Covaci hit a great ball. David Şneapotă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simón Domeyco in the 10th minute of play. Eufemio Sazie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Bărboianu in the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simón Domeyco during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Costică Abrudan fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viola Invest's protests and gave Costică Abrudan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Costică Abrudan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viola Invest's David Şneapotă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Viola Invest from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Simón Domeyco managed to get in a good position for a shot. PROTON F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Simón Domeyco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Şneapotă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costică Abrudan got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 28th match minute, Viola Invest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Abrudan to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Simón Domeyco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Şneapotă. The goal made the score 3-0. After a rather tough play, PROTON F.C.'s Lázaro Camus got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Simón Domeyco came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the PROTON F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simón Domeyco couldn't finish the play. Nae Bărboianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eufemio Sazie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eufemio Sazie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Bărboianu in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Nae Bărboianu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eufemio Sazie was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nae Bărboianu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Simón Domeyco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Şneapotă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Viola Invest's George Teodoreanu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 55th play minutes Nae Bărboianu shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Eufemio Sazie and just under the crossbar into goal. When Gabino Pechini fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PROTON F.C.'s protests and gave Gabino Pechini a yellow card for diving instead. Gabino Pechini hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Eufemio Sazie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Bărboianu in the 62nd minute of the match. Dorin Proca hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. PROTON F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Nae Bărboianu scored to the left of an out of position Eufemio Sazie, making the score, 3-3. In the 70th match minute, PROTON F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simón Domeyco to maneuver through the defense. Gabino Pechini was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 80 minutes of play, Viola Invest's Nae Bărboianu made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eufemio Sazie was left in no man's land by his defense there! George Teodoreanu got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. George Teodoreanu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Podador Picarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Gelu Covaci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viola Invest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelu Covaci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gelu Covaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eufemio Sazie having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Viola Invest had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
