Costică Abrudan kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético São Sebastião's Hélder Sá got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Anísio Paiva made a precise shot to the right of David Şneapotă. Viola Invest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match Anísio Paiva climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised David Şneapotă. Nae Bărboianu took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuca Sá. Samuca Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 24 minutes into the game, Viola Invest's Nae Bărboianu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuca Sá made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. George Teodoreanu scored 2-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuca Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 minutes of play Viola Invest's Martin Bilașco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Atlético São Sebastião booed when Viola Invest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Bologa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolae Jilăveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Abrudan in the 42nd minute of play forced Atlético São Sebastião's goalkeeper Samuca Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerônimo Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Viola Invest were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Costică Abrudan to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético São Sebastião's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nae Bărboianu was slow to take the kick. During this time Viola Invest's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Nicolae Jilăveanu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Atlético São Sebastião getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cauã Galvão hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match Nae Bărboianu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuca Sá showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Anísio Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Şneapotă was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Samuca Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Jilăveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Atlético São Sebastião getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cauã Galvão hit a great ball. When Costică Abrudan came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Viola Invest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Abrudan couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Viola Invest defense, Anísio Paiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Şneapotă. The Viola Invest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Şneapotă should have stopped the shot. After 76 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by Costică Abrudan. In the 78th minute Anísio Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Şneapotă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlético São Sebastião's Gabriel Siqueira got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Costică Abrudan came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Viola Invest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Abrudan couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes, Florin Bălașa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viola Invest and the Atlético São Sebastião players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by Florin Bălașa. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético São Sebastião had won after a very even match.
