When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Christian Vieri put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ratko Gingold. The Rot-Weiss-Essen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Coriano FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
