An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Mota in the 18th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Federico Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Normando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Brandão in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isac Mota in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Normando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Bertin made a kick off. Niceto Lluciano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Marcos Mourão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Bertin's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Marcos Mourão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Bertin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Veríssimo Castilho fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s protests and gave Veríssimo Castilho a yellow card for diving instead. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Bendito Sea El Fernet. Baldomiro Guerrero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcos Mourão. 5-0. Jeronimo Bertin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bendito Sea El Fernet fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
