Dimitris Kalokiris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Brandt having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Kalokiris came free, but John Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Soulis Zacharas got a free kick in the 31st minute. Soulis Zacharas might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over John Brandt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Soulis Zacharas ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Mats-Olof Rubarth made the kick off in the second half. When Mats-Olof Rubarth came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Elmtaryd Agunnaryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats-Olof Rubarth couldn't finish the play. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd made a substitution. Carl Larsson replaced Ove Björck. John Brandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Kalokiris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 played minutes GREEN LIONS got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Seremetiadis. 89 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Ekström came free, but Kyriakos Vardis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Elmtaryd Agunnaryd booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soulis Zacharas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes, Carl Larsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elmtaryd Agunnaryd and the GREEN LIONS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Larsson to maneuver through the defense.
