They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celedonio Araube to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Mariano Walker got free with Luís Gustavo Souza in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the game, Florinio Daniels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The match ended in a draw.
