With a little luck, GREEN LIONS's Kyriakos Vardis got control of the ball when Enrique Mariano Walker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Odilón Bauzá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Mariano Walker. Justino Laferte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Seremetiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miltos Thomakoglou during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to GREEN LIONS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Miltos Thomakoglou hit a great ball. FSX UNITED's Florián Badilla got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GREEN LIONS's Kyriakos Vardis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florián Badilla in the 32nd minute of play. Eleftherios Fasoulas hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Kyriakos Vardis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Araube. 47 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Seremetiadis came free, but Justino Laferte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitris Kalokiris made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Andreas Seremetiadis took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Justino Laferte to make any attempt to save it. Justino Laferte made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Andreas Seremetiadis sent off a good shot on target. Eleftherios Fasoulas hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when FSX UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adán Tejo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
